A U.K.-based copper and fiber cabling system manufacturer announced what it said were surprising results of interference testing of high-performance cabling and 10GBASE-T interface cards. The tests performed indicated that unshielded twisted-pair Category 6 cable was “seriously susceptible to electromagnetic interference and alien crosstalk,” according to a company statement.
