The recently introduced GT1000A microwave power amplifier is now available packaged with the 2420B a high performance microwave generator and synthesizer from Giga-tronics. Special pricing is available for this combination when purchased together. The GT-1000A broadband solid-state power amplifier utilizes Spatium™ spatial combined parallel MMIC technology. Traveling wave tube amplifiers have been replaced to achieve solid-state reliability, safe low-voltage operation, no aging characteristics, and fault tolerance. The GT1000A provides a 2- to 20-GHz frequency range in a single band without band-switching resulting in ±2.5 dB gain flatness across the band—a feature that saves time and avoids the problems associating with band switching between narrow band amplifiers. The US list price for the combination with no modulation is $57,900. The combination with modulation is $64,900.Find more information at the Giga-tronics’ website.
