The latest release of CST STUDIO SUITE™ from Computer Simulation Technology (CST) recently debuted at DesignCon. Two highly specialized tools included in STUDIO SUITE 2009 include CST PCB STUDIO™ and CST CABLE STUDIO™—both part of CST DESIGN ENVIRONMENT™ that also includes access to CST MICROWAVE STUDIO® (or CST MWS). Signal currents can be used in CST MWS as excitation sources for EMC/EMI analysis. With the thoroughly integrated workflow provided, signal integrity and EMC issues can be addressed early in the design process to reduce the number of expensive cut-and-try iterations. The complete CST DESIGN STUDIO, an entire synthesized technology system, can also be used for access and modification of the individual components within the system. Look for additional product details at the CST website. Keep abreast on the latest developments in EMC/EMI analysis by visiting the Interference Technology Testing Forum.
