Models 3180, 3181, and 3182 from ETS-Lindgren are a series of omni-directional, biconical antennas for monitoring broadband spectrum. In addition to receiving signals from every direction around the antenna axis, Models 3180 and 3182 feature optimized elements that forestall any splitting of the main radiation beam in the elevation cut. Models 3180 and 3182 cover the traditional frequency range of EMC measurements from 30 MHz to 1 GHz. The 3180 can also be used for free space NSA (FSNSA) testing of fully anechoic chambers and is compact enough for amplifier harmonic monitoring when testing per IEC 61000-4-3. Model 3181, a mini-bicon, has been crafted primarily for CISPR-16 chamber characterization over the 500-MHz to 18-GHz frequency range. It may also be used for amplifier harmonic measurements per IEC 61000-4-3, EM field surveillance, spectrum monitoring, and most wireless bands worldwide. All three models are individually calibrated with actual antenna factors.Find more product information on EST-Lindgren website.
