Rhode & Schwarz, a supplier of test and measurement, broadcasting, radiomonitoring and radiolocation equipment, has released the ESRP EMI test receiver for diagnostic and precomplance measurements in the frequency range of 10 Hz to 7 GHz. According to Rohde & Schwarz, the new EMI test receiver is “the ideal instrument for developers to employ in the early stages of design to detect and eliminate EMC problems in components and instruments.”
The ESRP EMI test receiver is equipped to measure disturbance signals using either the FFT-based time domain scan or the stepped frequency scan methods. Both methods are compliant with the CISPR 16-1-1 standard for EMC measurements.
The receiver measures both conducted and radiated electromagnetic interference.
