A new line of wideband, hybrid power amplifier modules (HPMs) from AR RF Microwave Instrumentation covers the 6- to 18-GHZ frequency range. These hybrid modules require only a single DC volt source and are 50-ohm “cascadable” building blocks with output powers up 37 dBm. The six new hybrid power modules have excellent typical gain flatness, excellent noise performance, and low intermodulation distortion. They feature low spurious signals and excellent linearity and are 100 percent load tolerant. With these characteristics, the HPMs are clearly well suited to the many RF applications that require linearity, medium power, and wide bandwidth. AR also offers in-house custom design solutions for frequencies from DC to 20 GHz. Find additional details on the AR RF Microwave website.
