The CWR 09, 11, 19, and 29 line of tantalum military capacitors from KEMET Corporation has been expanded to meet in full the requirement of MIL-PRF-55365 T-level testing. These capacitors have been crafted for use in military/aerospace, high-reliability applications. In addition to compliance with MIL-PRF-365 requirements in regard to surge current options, Weilbull grading, and termination options, the expanded line meets the stringent “T level” requirements. These include single date lot code, C level Weibull grading minimum, C level surge current, DPA (destructive physical analysis), three sigma rescreen for ESR and DC leakage current, 100 percent single plane x-ray, and Group A and C inspection on each lot. KEMET is now on the Qualified Products List (QPL) for all options of styles for CWR 09, 11, 19, and 29 specified in MIL-PRF-55365.Look for further product details on the KEMET website.
