The X2Y Integrated Passive Component from Syfer Technologies is a 3-terminal EMI chip device. It has been crafted to provide simultaneous line-to-line ground filtering using a single ceramic chip. Both differential and common mode filtering are provided by this one device. It can replace two or more conventional devices and is well suited to balanced lines, twisted pairs, and DC motors. These filters are said to meet the most stringent EMC demands, particularly in automotive applications.
