British technology firm Cobham plc has rebranded three of its business units—ERA Technology, Culham Lightning, and Vector Fields. These companies will now be grouped under the name Cobham Technical Services in an effort to create a single global identity associated with a wide range of offerings to high tech sector customers worldwide. Vector Fields, located in Oxford, UK and Aurora, CO produces advanced design automation software for modeling and analyzing electromagnetic equipment and its effects. Its well known tools Opera and Concerto are widely used for prototyping and speeding time to market in a broad range of applications from communication products and systems, to motors, loudspeakers, and particle beam machines.An official announcement of the rebranding can be found on the Vector Fields’ website.
