Detroit EMC2008 – Extensive interest shown in MILMEGA’s 1-6GHz amplifier solution

Visitors to the MILMEGA booth at the Detroit EMC 2008 exhibition hall showed extensive interest in the new hybrid 0.8-6.0GHz power amplifier on display there.Of particular interest was the modular, scalable architecture permitting a selection of power levels in the two bands (0.8-2.0GHz and 2.0-6.0GHz internally switched) and an easy, proven route for upgrades in power. The amplifier is a combination of MILMEGA’s world-renowned 0.8-2.0GHz Series 2000 amplifier family and it’s new 2.0-6.0GHz family utilizing 21st century Gallium Nitride technology.
