Spellman High Voltage Electronics Corporation has acquired K&S Rontgenwerk Bochum, a provider of x-ray generators for medical diagnostic x-ray applications, which is based in Bochum, Germany. K&S designs, produces, and markets medical x-ray materials. Their products consist of “40, 50, 65 and 80kW high frequency generators capable of routine radiographic and fluoroscopic applications, as well as digital radiography.” The K&S brand will remain, but Spellman receives 100 percent of K&S stocks.
