American EMI Solutions announces that they have received approval to manufacture and sell Electrically Conductive Elastomers conforming to the requirements of MIL-DTL-83528C. This specification is regulated by the U.S. Defense Supply Center, Columbus OH (DSCC).To receive DSCC certification, American EMI Solutions successfully demonstrated, through a DSCC regulated qualification testing program, the ability to compound, mix, test and produce electrically conductive elastomer materials that conform to the requirements listed in the MIL-DTL-83528C specification. AES was audited on a variety of factors, including traceability procedures, handling and storage processes, environmental control methods and training procedures. The audit also requires that the company’s internal documents are current and changes to any documents are made in accordance with ISO-9001:2000. American EMI Solutions currently offers sixteen Conductive Elastomer materials, five of which are MIL-DTL-83528C type specific; additional materials will be added as required to meet the industry needs.LEARN MORE
