Malaysia to Save Millions with EMC Lab

The country stands to save on a potential outflow of at least RM3.2 million (about $1.04 million) a year for electromagnetic compatibility testing services with the opening of its first public EMC laboratory. The estimate is based only on EMC testing expenditure and potential savings figures obtained from 17 electrical and electronic firms operating in the country, by the Penang Skills Development Centre, officials said.Read more in the Malaysian Business Times.
