Atlanta-based Apogee Interactive has named Lei Wang to the position of energy modeling engineer. A Ph.D. from the Georgia Institute of Technology, Wang joins a team of seasoned engineers and cutting-edge web developers who produce proprietary energy analysis software for more than 400 U.S. companies. As a post doctoral fellow at Georgia Tech, Wang’s research assignments included numerical modeling of the armature-rail interface in an electromagnetic launcher system for the Office of Naval Research. While an undergraduate at Tsinghua University in China, his work included computational fluid dynamics simulation of continuous casting with electromagnetic effects for projects sponsored by the National Nature Science Foundation of China, Baosteel Group Co., and PZH Steel.Find the original announcement on the Apogee Interactive website.
