Circuit protection provider Littelfuse, Inc., has announced a new series of TVS diode arrays for protecting telecommunication interfaces. According to the company, each SR70 Series TVS diode array “is built from four low capacitance, rail-to-rail diodes to provide excellent protection against electrostatic discharge (ESD) and lightning-induced surge damage.”
Chad Marak, product manager for Littelfuse TVS diode arrays, states that the new device is the first TVS diode array optimized for use with xDSL interfaces. The new TVS diode array series features a high surge rating of 40A, a high ESD rating of 30kV and low capacitance level of 2.0pF which, according to the company, makes the device ideal for protecting high-speed data lines.
