TÜVRheinland® has promoted its East Coast Regional Manager Rick Patterson to the position of Chief Operating Officer. In his new role, Patterson will manage all operations for TÜV Rheinland of North America, Inc. from the company’s headquarters in Newtown, Conn. A veteran of regulatory and global compliance, Patterson has spent six years in various management positions at the company’s Boxborough, Mass. office. In 2003, he began working with TÜVRheinland as the Regional Sales Manager for the Mid-Atlantic states. Three years later, he was promoted to Regional Manager for the Northeast and in 2008 took on the role of East Coast Regional Manager.
