The online magazine DIGITIMES has reported that Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company has begun replacing 20,000 low-power personal phone system handsets used by employees for internal communications with a special 3G handsets made by Chunghwa Telecom (CHT). TSMC had used the previous system in order to avoid electromagnetic interference in clean rooms DIGITIMES reported.
