Title: System Level Approach to EMC Shielding on Hybrid and Electric Vehicles
Date: December 10 – 11 2013
Location: Fremont and San Diego, California, USA
Description: The engineering of efficient and manufacturable electric drive propulsion systems for hybrid and electric vehicles has resulted in new challenges in meeting and managing vehicle EMC requirements. Developing EMC solutions using a system engineering approach can streamline the design process while improve overall vehicle safety, mission performance goals, regularity compliance, and customer satisfaction for electrified vehicles. This seminar looks at different shielding strategies and design techniques while employing a system engineering approach to identify vehicle and system requirements, possible design solutions, and verification and validation milestones.
