The new R&S® FSV signal analyzer offers an analysis bandwidth of 40 MHz and can, thus, cover a wide range of wireless standards—from 3GPP LTE up to WLAN 802.11n. With 1000 sweeps/s in remote control mode it allows for higher throughputs in product production. It integrates easily into existing production lines because it is compatible with earlier generations of Rohde & Schwarz instruments. A total measurement uncertainty of 0.3 dB up to 3.6 GHz and 0.4 dB up to 7 GHz underscores the instrument’s reliability. The base unit provides a complete set of functions such as the measurement of channel power and adjacent channel power or spectrum emission mask, as well as a wide choice of filters and detectors. If options for analyzing GSM/EDGE, GPP WCDMA, 3GPP LTE, WiMAX, and WLAN are installed, the R&S® FSV signal analyzer becomes the logical choice for use in a wireless communications laboratory.
