The Connecticut Rail Commuter Council has learned that the arrival of a number of railcars they were expecting to be delivered in December has been delayed due to problems found during electromagnetic interference testing. A railroad official overseeing testing of the cars said while engineers had noticed the problem with electromagnetic interference during testing, it had been assumed it would be easier to fix than it was.Read more in the Stamford Advocate.
