Portable, Folding Biconical Antenna Performs Site Attenuation Measurements

The SAS-542 Folding Biconical Antenna from A.H. Systems was the first EMC antenna designed for portable compliance testing applications. Product features include a frequency range of 20 MHz to 330 MHz, maximum continuous power of 1 watt, impedance of 50 Ω, and a maximum radiated field of 2 V/m. These antennas are individually calibrated (1-, 3- and 10-meter calibration included) and are suitable for ANSI, Bellcore, CISPR, CE, EN, FCC, IEC, MIL-STD, and SAE testing. The biconical elements unscrew from the balun and fold neatly into a small size for transportation. The folding biconical elements can be closed similar to an umbrella frame so that the SAS-542 can be fitted into an optional transit/storage case.For additional product information, go to the A.H.
