The Philadelphia Chapter of the EMC Society hosted a meeting Oct. 29 at Crowne Plaza Philadelphia Valley Forge, in King of Prussia PA.
The topic of the meeting was “So What’s All this Wireless Small Cell Hoopla About Anyway?” It was a discussion about Wireless Technology and it’s technical evolution from 1st Generation (1G) to 4th Generation (4G). The impact of Wi-Fi and the difficulties in testing Licensed Wireless Base Station products for EMC.
The speaker was W. Steve Majkowski NCE, FCC Wireless Compliance, CDMA Filing Lead, a member of technical staff of the Global Products Compliance Laboratory at Alcatel-Lucent’s Bell Laboratories in Murray Hill, NJ.
