Advanced Compliance Solutions, Inc. (ACS) announces the opening of a new lab in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina that includes a Semi-Anechoic Chamber as its centerpiece. The new chamber uses the latest hybrid and microwave absorber and covers frequency ranges over 40 GHZ. The chamber is registered and approved as a test site with the FCC, Industry Canada and VCCI.
This new ACS EMC lab is one of the first labs in the U.S. that has met the requirements for the new standard ANSI C63.4:2014. The lab will focus on EMC Compliance Testing, Radio approvals, Emissions Testing to FCC, EN/CE, and other product certification standards. The company also plans to develop an on-site covered 10-meter Open Area Test Site (OATS).
“This addition will grow our geographic reach as well as improve our overall capacity across 5 testing locations,” Scott Proffitt, ACS president, said.
