The U.S. Navy’s newest research and development facility, built with laboratories to support the combat system certification of warships, officially opened for business May 17 when the ribbon was cut in front of 250 people. Capt. Sheila Patterson, commander for the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division, said the facility includes an advanced anechoic chamber to test maritime antennas.Read more from the U.S. Navy.
