Emerson Network Power’s new range of 5 watt USB wall mount ac-dc adapters, the DCH5 series, are based on an all-in-one design, which eliminates the need for dedicated power cable attachments and connectors. Instead, one side of the adapter plugs into the ac supply socket, and the dc output is made available via a standard USB Type A receptacle on the opposite side. The adapters operate in constant voltage/constant current mode, and are intended for powering any USB peripheral device rated at 5 W or less requiring an external power source. Typical applications include small networking equipment, and powering or charging devices such as smartphones, tablets, digital cameras, portable gaming devices and e-book readers.Learn more from Emerson Network Power.
