(June 22, 2016) Teseq, a unit of AMETEK Compliance Test Solutions (CTS) and a leading developer of instrumentation and systems for electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) emission and immunity testing, has hired James Young as regional sales director for US/Canada and Mexico. He replaces Greg Senko as director of sales, beginning in July.
Young, who is experienced in sales, marketing and product management in the EMC field, is expected to lead the AMETEK CTS sales team to increased performance in sales, service and applications assistance and to help grow the business’s offerings in radio frequency (RF) solutions and systems.
Before joining AMETEK CTS, Young worked for Rohde & Schwarz, Columbia, MD, where he served for 15 years in various EMC sales and marketing positions. Prior to that he held product management and marketing positions with Cadence, San Jose, CA; ParkerVision, Jacksonville, FL; and Signal Space Design, Salt Lake City, UT.
Greg Senko, vice president of Teseq Inc., said, “James’ engineering background, which includes system, circuit, application-specific integrated circuit (ASIC) and field-programmable gate array (FPGA) designs for various communications products and RF test systems, enables him to understand what are our customers need and how to help them find the best solutions for their applications.”
