Schurter, a manufacturer of fuses, connectors, circuit breakers and EMC products, has announced the expansion of its FMER series of high-current filters with the addition of a model designed for high power. The company also plans to offer the entire FMER series without Y capacitors.
The FMER series of filers have UL approvals for ambient temperatures of 55°C and 75°C as well as rated voltages of 600 VDC and 1000 VDC, and rated currents from 25 A to 2300 A.
The filters are equipped with screw terminals up to 150 A and copper bars starting at 250 A. Other connection types and small modifications to the switching or housing are available upon request.
