DARE!! Instruments presents its patented RadiField Triple A – a cost effective and efficient field generator. This RadiField Triple A is “no less than a revolution in EMC immunity testing,” according to researchers.
Typically, immunity testing setups are complicated and involve an amplifier, coupler, RF power meters, interconnecting cables and a combiner; however, the RadiField Triple A integrates all of these components into “one single instrument, and all these unwanted power losses are reduced to zero. The single cable, running from the RadiCentre® to the RadiField is used to drive the unit with an RF signal, to power the unit and to provide bidirectional communication with the unit. The low power RF signal is transmitted in a lossless fashion over this cable,” according to engineers.
Other features of the RadiField Triple A include easy installation, low power consumption, low mechanical wear and tear, a lower calibration cost, and ability to cover frequencies ranging from 80 MHz to 18 GHz. Also, no power is lost between the amplifier and antenna during Active Antenna Array.
