Network solutions company Emerson Network Power has announced it has been approved to perform GR-1089 Network Equipment Building System (NEBS) qualification testing for electromagnetic compatibility and electrical safety of network telecommunications equipment. The company was approved under the Verizon NEBS Testing Certification Witnessing Program (NEBS-TCWP).
“As one of the pioneers of integrated, application-ready ATCA systems, we are proud to be able to offer this new level of service to our customers,” Brian Brown, vice president and general manager of marketing and services for Emerson Network Power’s embedded computing business, said. “This certification underlines our unrivalled depth and breadth of experience and expertise in telecom platforms.”
Using its new capabilities, Emerson hopes to provide faster and more complete service to its customers, including smaller telecom equipment manufacturers that do not have the capability for in-house testing.
