MVG will reveal its latest generation of absorbers dedicated to EMC testing(Electromagnetic Compatibility) at the IEEE EMC Symposium in Long beach, California, from July 30 to August 3, 2018. TheHyPyr-LossTM Ultra Broadband Absorber is a new generation of absorbers designed to reduce electromagnetic waves over a very wide frequency band.
With the arrival of 5G, the move of the Internet of Things (IoT) and the emergence of new industries and applications, Electromagnetic tests are becoming increasingly common. As a leader in the field of antenna measurement, MVG has been developing for more than 30 years absorbers for faradized anechoic chambers, for RF (radio frequency) and EMC communities, and supports its customers in their choice of the most appropriate test and measurement solutions.
During the most important EMC fairs of this summer, MVG will reveal a new version of its high performance absorbers generation launched last year.
The MVG HyPyr-LossTM products include absorbers that can cope with all EMC application requirements, such as electromagnetic wave immunity tests, wave emission level tests or a combination of both tests. Associated to ferrite tiles, these absorbers reduce the electromagnetic waves over a wider frequency band.
HyPyr-LossTM Ultra Broadband Absorbers
The new MVG Hy-Pyr-Loss Ultra Broadband Absorber attenuates the electromagnetic waves from 80 MHz to 40GHz. These high performance absorbers offer solutions for EMC applications requiring testing over wide frequency ranges, especially where a higher frequency (1-40 GHz) optimization is required in terms of reflectivity. For example, they are particularly well suited for the MIL-STD 461 standard or when EMC testing and antenna measurement are combined in the same chamber.

About Microwave Vision
Since its creation in 1986, The Microwave Vision Group (MVG) has developed a unique expertise in the visualization of electromagnetic waves. These waves are at the heart of our daily lives: Smartphones, computers, tablets, cars, trains and planes –none of these devices and vehicles would work without them. Year after year, the Group develops and markets systems that allow for the visualization of these waves, while evaluating the characteristics of antennas, and helping speed up the development of products using microwave frequencies. The Group’s mission is to extend this unique technology to all sectors where it will bring strong added value. Since 2012, MVG is structured around 3 departments: AMS (Antenna Measurement Systems), EMC (Electro-Magnetic Compatibility), EIC (Environmental & Industrial Control). MVG is present in 10 countries, and generates 90% of sales from exports. MVG has over 300 employees and a loyal customer base of international companies. TheGroup generated revenues of € 71million in 2017.MVG has received the BPI “Innovative Enterprise” award, and is illegible for PEA-PME.
