Murata Electronics North America recently introduced a surface mount multilayer ceramic capacitor that meets the Japan Electronics and Information Technology Industries Association (JEITA) RCX-2326 standard. This standard regulates capacitance under real-world operating conditions and was adopted because capacitance in ferroelectric materials, when used in voltage dependent ceramic capacitors, can vary between the nominal capacitance and the capacitance under actual in-service circumstances. Murata’s new GW series meets these standards by guaranteeing the capacitance of 100µF under actual operating conditions. Get more information from Murata.
