Pulse, a Technitrol Company, announces the immediate availability of its point of entry RF filter module for multimedia over coax (MoCA) applications. The standalone CX5060 filter passes cable television (CATV) Docsis 3.0 signals, blocks MoCA signals, and provides RFI shielding and surge protection within a weatherproof metal housing. It is used by CATV service providers to isolate MoCA service within a single service point. Pass band frequency for the CX5060 filter is from 5MHz to1002MHz with an impedance of 75 ohms and provides over 40dB of insertion loss in the MoCA frequency band (1125 – 2300MHz).
