A new line of small fully anechoic chambers from Netherlands-based Comtest meets a growing need for pre-compliance testing of small products. The chamber design is based on Comtest’s Pan-Shield shielding panels that provide high shielding effectiveness over a wide frequency range. Additional RF absorbers within the chamber prevent reflections from the metal walls that could compromise measurements. This same chamber design has been used as a small reverberation or mode-stirred room for the testing of GPS devices. Other product fixtures include external dimensions of 850 x 630 x 1053 mm, a clear door opening of 440 x 615 mm, RF feed-through (N-connector), and ventilation honeycombs.
