The IEEE EMC Society of the United Kingdom/Republic of Ireland has announced that it will be holding EMC-related demonstrations on October 14, and 15, 2008 during EMC UK 2008 at Newbury. There will be five demonstrations each day, and topics will include Static Electricity and Real ESD Sources, Live Demonstrations of Filter Topologies, Measuring Transfer Impedance to IEC 62153-4-6:2006/EN 50289-1-6::2002, Computational Modelling for EMC, Analyzing Current Paths and Magnetic Fields, Shielding Effectiveness Measurement Demonstration, ESD Immunity of an Analogue and a Digital Circuit, Insertion Loss Demonstration of Varistor EMI Filters, and Conducted and Radiated Emissions of In-House PLT Modems. These sessions will take place in the marquis annex on the ground floor.No separate registration is required for those attending EMCUK 2008.
