The European Commission has made available a Guide to assist with the common application of the Directive 2004/108/EC which, while having no weight in law, deals with a number of practical issues that will be of interest to manufacturers and other stakeholders. There is also an EMC Quickguide on the obligations of manufacturers. Issues with respect to implementation are regularly considered.
