The new 7810 series of 3M Electrically Conductive Acrylic Pads (eCAP) offers cohesive strength, shock absorption, and strong adhesion, which allows for rework and fast assembly without curing time. The eCAP 7810 series products are effective for EMI gasket shielding applications, ESD grounding, and reliable electrical contact with as little as 2.5 mm x 2.5 mm of contact. This new family is the latest to use 3M eCAP technology with conductive filler pads aligned in three-dimensional structures giving pressure-sensitive tape excellent electrical conductivity in all three axes while retaining adhesion and compression performance. Unlike traditional tapes and adhesives, eCAP can mate uneven surfaces and can cushion against mechanical shock. It is more conformable than metal-based shielding materials and will not oxidize. These new 7810 series gaskets are available in a range of thicknesses.Find more product information on the 3M website.
