Long time IEEE EMC Society member and past president Bob Hofmann is currently recuperating from a fall that occurred as he arrived home from a VCCI-related trip to Japan. Apparently, he sustained a fall and some head injuries as he was dropped off at his home. This past weekend, he underwent surgery to correct bleeding and remains hospitalized. The very good news is that the surgery was successful and that he is on the mend. EMC community friends who wish to send a get-well message should forward it to H.R. “Bob” Hofmann, 1210 Lawn Meadow Lane, Napier, IL 60540 orvia email.
