In October 2009, Interference Technology surveyed approx. 100 companies actively selling products and services to the global EMC market. The focus of the study was the European EMC market, to discover how much business they currently derive from Europe versus other regions of the world, which countries provide the most business currently, and which countries suppliers predict will provide the best growth in the future. We looked at European market growth overall, and how much marketing investment is required to obtain this business. The purpose of the survey was to discover if and how Interference Technology might best support the business development efforts of suppliers in the European EMC market. With the absence of EMC-focused media in Europe, we specifically asked what type(s) of media suppliers believe would work best to build their European business. The companies who participated included a wide range of suppliers of EMI components, materials, test equipment and testing/certification services, from both North America and Europe. The data we collected from European and North American companies is presented separately to show the different regional results and perspectives. A partial list of participating companies can be found at the end of this report.Click the pdf below to read the report.
