V Technical Textiles, Inc. in partnership with Newcut (an Incodema company), is pioneering new technology utilizing Statex’s Tin/copper/Silver conductive fabric (Zell) to offer an innovative new product named VshieldTex® Etchtex.
“Utilizing a proprietary process from Newcut, V Technical Textiles has developed the ability to selectively remove sections of metal from the conductive fabrics; in order to produce specific designs within the body of Tin/Copper/Silver conductive textiles. This ability allows for the production of both standard and custom designed sensors, resistive heaters, antennas, and other associated flexible lightweight solutions to these industries. While this type of technology is currently being performed on thin film devices, the innovation here is the ability to provide this technology on a textile,” claimed V Technical Textiles, Inc.
