Here’s what some of the exhibitors had on display:
- Aaronia AG’s Spectran V5 handheld REALTIME spectrum analyzer offers a real-time streaming function, and can stream data continuously and save gap-free on PC. The V5 features up to 200MHz real-time bandwidth and a shifted polyphase-filter used together with a patented measurement process with modulated local oscillator. The signal processing is realized by FPGA, which also includes a vector processor for statistic analysis and demodulation. The SPECTRAN V5 can be controlled by the unit’s touch screen, by a multifunctional jog-dial, by motion control, or via custom-hotkeys or real-time remote control (GSM, WLAN or USB).
- Albatross Projects GmbH, a system provider for RF rooms, EMC and microwave test sites, produces shielded absorber boxes for partner company 7 layers AG, which is refining the boxes to over-the-air (OTA) test environments by special accessories. Although small in size and reasonably priced, the boxes create a properly shielded test environment for rigorous OTA device verification with high accuracy levels. It is ideally suited for R&D purposes, testing mobile devices, smart phones, mobile headsets and similar devices.
- Feuerherdt GmbH, which manufactures contact springs made of copper-beryllium, is now also making contact springs of stainless steel in stock. This material is resistant to corrosion and abrasion and has good connection properties. In addition to its standard range, Feuerherdt also offers developing and manufacturing contact springs according to customer specifications.
- GAUSS INSTRUMENTS introduces time-domain EMI Measurement System up to 40 GHz for full compliance testing according to all civil, military standards, as well as avionic standards. The TDEMI 40G covers the frequency range 10 Hz – 40 GHz. The system features real-time spectrogram mode with an analysis bandwidth of 162.5 MHz. The TDEMI 40G also has a fully pre-selected low noise amplifier stage up to 40 GHz.
- Likeas GmbH’s showcased its SAB 1000 USB-Optical Converter-system for EMC chambers. The SAB 1000 is used for measurements of USB devices in EMC chambers and features low changeover time, cost savings, transparent data connection, no disturbance source in EMC chamber, electrically isolated fiber optical connection, a possible 500m between DUT and data acquisition, battery-powered system, up to 8 hours battery runtime, and the SAB 1000 falls below the limit values according to DIE EN 55022.
