The “TDEMI” measurement system from GAUSS Instruments carries out emission measurements in the time domain, and features EMI receiver emulation using an FFT-based bank of filters. With real-time analysis, the signal is parallel-processed continuously over a wide frequency band and is then analyzed using the quasi-peak detector. A special mode enables real-time analysis in peak, average, RMS detector modes, and CISPR bandwidths. With its powerful ADC-system and a special digital signal processing unit, this device can measure even pulsed signals and can detect the quasi-peak value. With the “TDEMI” system, quasi-peak measurements can take as little as two minutes with no need for a pre-scan. The GAUSS “TDEMI” is distributed by emv GmbH; find more product information on that company’swebsite
