The Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission is expected to rule next month on PPL Electric Utilities’ plan to build the $510 million Susquehanna-Roseland transmission line. Many homeowners along the route are protesting the line, concerned about health problems from high-voltage electromagnetic fields and the effects on property values.
