The EMC community celebrated the contributions and achievements of its colleagues at an Awards Luncheon on August 20 at the 2009 IEEE International Symposium on Electromagnetic Compatibility in Austin, Texas. EMC Society President Elya Joffe presented The Richard R. Stoddart Award for Outstanding Performance to Bruce Archambeault; the Laurence G. Cumming Award for Outstanding Service to Frank Sabath; and the Fellow designation to Dr. James Knighten, Dr. William A. Radasky and Dr. Omar M. Ramahi. Hall of Fame Awards were given to William E. (Gene) Cory, Edwin Bronaugh, Warren Kesselman and Mervin First.Also recognized among the many other award recipients was Interference Technology’s own Graham Kilshaw, who was presented with a Certificate of Acknowledgement for outstanding leadership and dedication in bringing to fruition the 125th IEEE Anniversary event at the Franklin Institute on May 21, 2009.Congratulations to all the winners!
