Late last year IL-based Elite successfully completed a four-day ISO 17025 quality system assessment by the accrediting body NVLAP. The assessment evaluated various aspects of Elite’s quality management system including document control, internal audits, corrective actions, and other elements of its quality system and manual. Included were this lab’s test methods re MIL-STD-461, DO-160, FCC Rules, and CISPR/IEC. Also, the calibration laboratory and calibration processes were checked for compliance with established quality procedures. An A2LA assessment will take place this year. Elite was initially accredited to NVLAP in 1986 to quality standard ISO Guide 26 (the predecessor to IEC 17025).See the original announcement and other testing information on the Elite website.
