The new 12R1 series of enclosures from Elma Electronics are up to 20 percent lighter than previous models and are available in RoHS compliant models. These lighter models are particularly well suited to avionics and other weight restricted applications. The 12R1 COTS line has complete EMC shielding integrity with braided gasketing, honeycomb filtering, and blind-riveting. The rugged chassis shell is made of aluminum frames and extruded profiles, and hinged front door panels assure unobstructed access to boards and drives.
