Rohde & Schwarz is recognized for its stability and success after a positive review of the last fiscal year. From July 2013 to June 2014, Rohde & Schwarz added 500 employees and netted a revenue of EUR 1.75 billion.
A key to Rohde & Schwarz’s success is its constant expansions of products, expertise of employees, and the addition of projects in other countries. Over this last year, the company saw an increase in orders in Latin America.
“The business of Rohde & Schwarz is based on four pillars: test and measurement, broadcasting, secure communications, radiomonitoring and radiolocation. In the test and measurement business field, the group was able to defend its market share in the past fiscal year. The main source of revenue was again wireless communications T&M equipment. After several years of booming business, demand in this market has normalized. However, an expanded product portfolio enabled the company to again achieve positive results in its business with mobile network operators,” according to the company.
Rohde & Schwarz plans to further its stability and success by enhancing its expertise in network security in hopes of strengthening its position in virtual security.
