TMD Technologies will introduce a new wide range of travelling wave tube amplifiers (TWTAs) for EMC HIRF testing at the IEEE EMC Symposium in Dresden.
The TWTAs are compact, lightweight, affordable and offer high field strength. The amplifiers are ideal for use in numerous EMC testing and intermodulationg (PIM) testin applications as well as telecommunications, electronic warfare simulation and medical fields.
“TMD’s latest amplifiers on show are proven in the field, and are achieving generally over 10 kW of power and up to 40 kW for certain pulsed models, with a frequency range up to 40 GHz using suites of both TWT based and solid state amplifiers,” according to the company.
The amplifiers also comply with HIRF RTCA/DO-160 G and L, MIL Standard, EUROCAE and AIRBUS ABD 100 standards.
