Parker Hannifin, Inc., a multi-national provider of EMI shielding, thermally conductive products, and many other products for the electronics sector, has announced the acquisition of EMI shielding and thermal products manufacturer EmiTherm Sdn Bhd of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Revenues of this acquired business were approximately $4.2 million in 2007. Earnings are expected to be accretive to Parker in the first full year and will be reported within the industrial international segment. Specifics of the deal were not disclosed. EmiTherm manufactures EMI shielding material such as dispensed form-in-place, molded, and extruded conductive gaskets throughout the ASEAN region.
