Mobile phone company Vodafone has responded to fears raised by a resident about the effect of electromagnetic radiation on the town of Forres in Scotland. The resident claimed to have detected “unsafe” levels of electromagnetic waves in the atmosphere, which he says is affecting his health. A Vodafone spokesman said independent measurements of base stations have demonstrated that typical maximum exposures will be many hundreds, if not thousands, of times below international guidelines.Read more in the Forres Gazette.
