Power Integrations has announced the immediate availability of the Qspeed family of advanced diodes. The QSpeed family is built for optimal efficiency and EMI performance in power conversion circuits. These diodes use a unique silicon-based process to combine a low reverse recovery charge (QRR) with a soft recovery waveform. They are designed for continuous conduction mode (CCM) boost power factor correction (PFC) circuits, and as output diodes for hard-switching applications.
